Touring exhibition

Besides its permanent display, accommodated at the kapi-kula Ploca and Sirokac, the Museum “Alija Izetbegović” also organises a travelling exhibition about the life, work and persona of the late President “Alija Izetbegović”. This photo exhibition is organised on 27 chronologically arranged boards and provides a vivid presentation of the life of the first President of the independent state of Bosnia-Herzegovina, who was a great philosopher,  patriot and a statesman of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The exhibition is very suitable when it comes to organizing different events all over Bosnia-Herzegovina. By its design, the exhibition can serve as an additional content of a conference or symposium, as well as a primary content of extracurricular educational activities and as a central display during manifestations marking any of the important dates for Bosnia-Herzegovina.

The exhibition had its debut in Istanbul, in 2008. The exhibition was seen by several hundreds visitors, followed by the delight of the whole Turkish public. Towards the end of the same year, the exhibition travelled to Priština, and then to the towns of Bosnia-Herzegovina. The interest for this moving exhibition is constantly growing, both in Bosnia-Herzegovina and abroad.
